Forced Fun: Edinburgh Fringe Special

2025

Forced Fun is Back – Edinburgh Fringe Special with James Gardner: Jockney Rebel (WIP)

We’re thrilled to welcome back Forced Fun with a special Edinburgh Fringe preview featuring rising Scottish comedy star James Gardner.

With over 40 million views online and praise as one of Scotland’s “most exciting new comedians” (MSN.com), James is making waves across the UK comedy scene with his sharp wit, relatable storytelling, and unmistakable charm.

In his brand-new work-in-progress show Jockney Rebel, James takes us on a hilarious ride through the joys and jolts of coming-of-middle-age. Now 42, he’s trying to make sense of everything from chaotic group chats to confusing Gen Z slang — all while navigating life as a working-class Glaswegian who somehow finds himself living in middle-class London.

Is he still the guy from Glasgow… or has he become that guy in a gilet?

Catch him at the London Welsh Centre before he heads up to Edinburgh – tickets available now!
