Spend the day exploring over 50 fantastic Welsh traders, featuring everything from handmade gifts and crafts to delicious food, drinks, homeware, jewellery, artwork and so much more. Whether you’re starting your Christmas shopping, meeting friends for a catch-up, or simply looking for a brilliant day out, there’s something for everyone.

Everyone is welcome – you certainly don’t have to be Welsh to join us! Bring your friends, your family, and even your well-behaved dogs, because the more the merrier.

We’re also delighted that this year’s market forms part of Bloomsbury Festival 2026, making it an even bigger celebration of culture, creativity and community. We hope it will introduce even more people to the Welsh Centre and everything it has to offer.

This year’s market is extra special as it marks the start of our biggest fundraising campaign yet. As we prepare for essential improvements to the Centre, we’re raising funds to support much-needed maintenance, improve accessibility, work towards installing a lift, and carry out a range of projects that will help secure the Centre’s future.

Next year, we’ll be celebrating the Welsh Centre’s 90th anniversary, and we want to make sure we’re not only celebrating our history but investing in our future too. With your support, we can help ensure this much-loved building continues to be a welcoming home for our whole community for another 90 years and beyond.

Rather than charging an entry fee, we’re asking visitors to consider making a suggested donation of £5 when booking.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference. If £5 isn’t possible, you can simply adjust the amount during booking. If you’re able to give a little more, we’d be incredibly grateful. Most importantly, we want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy a fantastic day celebrating Welsh culture, supporting our wonderful traders, and spending time together.

Accessibility: The Main Hall and Lobby are fully accessible. The Lower Hall and Bar are currently only accessible via stairs. Installing a lift is one of the key projects in our fundraising campaign.
