About London welsh Centre
The London Welsh Centre is a cultural and community centre in the heart of central London.
The London Welsh Centre has been situated on Grays Inn Road since 1937. Our mission is to promote Welsh culture and our beautiful language. We host community activities and events that champion Welsh talent. Our large spaces are available for private hire. Our iconic bar is open from Tuesday to Thursday from 18:00. Please check social media for updated opening times, in case of special events or private hire. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
Venue hire
With our excellent customer service and exceptional transport links, the London Welsh Centre is the perfect venue to host your event.
In central London space is a valuable commodity. We have 6 rooms available to hire all varying in size and capacity.
All our rooms come with super fast WiFi, and we have a range of optional extras that can also be hired.
Whatever your requirements, our attentive staff are always at hand to accommodate your needs, so please give us a call in the LWC office or email
Main hall
Perfect for Rehearsals, Readthroughs, Castings, Weddings, Conferences, Live performances, Screenings
Capable of hosting any sized group from 10 to 300 guests, our affordable spaces are adaptable and suitable for a wide range of events right in the heart of central London.
Boasting 21 meters in length and 10.5 meters in width the Main Hall is a perfect space for rehearsals, concerts, and events.
The partition gives our customers the flexibility to have a separate space for a secondary space or break out room if needed.
Lower hall
Perfect for Rehearsals, Readthroughs, Castings, Exams
Its vinyl flooring makes it great for dance classes and auditions, yoga or fitness classes. The curtain surrounding the room makes this space great for reducing noise and keeping out the natural light.

The London Welsh Centre’s unique bar is a great place to get a taste of Wales in Central London.
This is a public bar, and we extend a warm welcome to everyone. We have Welsh beer and lager on tap and a range of Welsh ales, spirits and snacks.

Our Community
Our LGBTQ+ flag has been waving proudly outside the building throughout all of June in solidarity and support for LGBTQ+ history month, but raising awareness doesn't have to end there.
